American attorney Daniel Klein established Klein & Iskandaryan in 2022 Mr Isajanyan replaces former Armenian Judge Sima Iskandaryan: hence the renaming of the firm from Klein & Iskandaryan to Klein & Isajanyan. Klein & Isajanyan stands as the pioneering and only Armenian law firm on the market managed by an American lawyer, successfully integrating international legal expertise with deep, localized Armenian legal practice. The firm recently solidified this unique position by forming a new strategic alliance and naming Nerses Isajanyan as a new name-partner.

Mr. Isajanyan is a prominent and respected figure in the Armenian legal market, bringing over 12 years of experience. Through his established firm, Vardanyan & Partners, he has served hundreds of clients over the years with exceptional expertise in tax law, company setup, and immigration matters. The primary goal of this alliance is to now provide Vardanyan & Partners‘ extensive client base with a full spectrum of high-quality corporate legal services, expanding beyond their established core offerings of Tax, Immigration, and Company setup.

Daniel Klein is Partner and Co-Founder of Klein & Isajanyan and an American attorney (also with Canadian citizenship) . He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Juris Doctor, and an MBA from London Business School (Daniel while also admitted to the MIT  full-time MBA program decided to pursue a European career). 

Daniel has co-founded and led several prominent international law and advisory firms and has advised Western companies operating across Russia, Europe, and the broader EMEA region. His practice focuses on venture capital and private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, intellectual property, and complex cross-border expansions. Daniel has almost a  decade of pure business expereince including being the EMEA director of a US stock listed company (Hypercom), working for a Siemens funded VC in Austria and working for the subsidiary of the French state bank Credit Lyonnais in their tech subsidiary

He has served on the boards of multiple international companies and held senior executive roles, including Managing Director for EMEA at a global payment technology manufacturer. Daniel is a frequent lecturer and media contributor on legal and business topics and is fluent in English, French, Russian and speaks Czech, and Spanish.

Nerses Isajanyan is a Partner at Klein & Isajanyan and a dual-admitted advocate providing full-range Armenian corporate and immigration law services. With more than 13 years of experience in immigration and international law, he advises individual and corporate clients on cross-border structuring, investment migration, and regulatory matters. He is admitted to practice law in the Republic of Armenia and the State of New York and is a professional member of the Investment Migration Council.

Nerses holds two LL.M. degrees, including an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center, earned with Distinction as a recipient of the Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship, and an LL.M. in International Business Law from Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III), earned with honors. His academic background also includes advanced legal and international affairs studies at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

He previously served as a Foreign Law Consultant at the U.S. Law Library of Congress and as Legal Counsel at the Central Bank of Armenia. Based in Yerevan, Nerses delivers globally informed legal solutions with strong cultural insight.
